Charlize Theron Uses Hypnotherapy To Give Up Smoking
Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron has revealed that she has used hypnotherapy to help her give up smoking.
The 36-year-old, who plays the evil queen in the upcoming film 'Snow White and the Huntsman' used to puff over three packets a day on a regular basis but has told examiner.com that she is now off cigarettes for good.
As well as quitting smoking, Theron claimed that she is now engaging in a much healthier lifestyle, which involves regular Pilates and Yoga sessions.
In an interview with celebrityhealthfitness.com, she admitted that being single made it much easier to quit the habit.
She said: "It's been nice to rediscover myself. I had to make a real conscious effort to do it - it's hard. It's much easier to lose yourself in flowers and cigarettes and coffee with somebody else."
Using hypnotherapy in order to quit smoking is becoming an increasingly popular practice being adopted by both celebrities and regular smokers.
Patients are able to have their cravings towards nicotine reprogrammed through a series of talking therapies in a relaxed environment.
Ellen DeGeneres, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt are amongst the other Hollywood A-listers to have championed the use of hypnotherapy and this has no doubt increased the popularity of the successful treatment.
