The National Hypnotherapy Society recognises the experience and skills that each individual can bring to our profession and this is reflected in our application process.

The National Hypnotherapy Society provides an easy to understand application process. In this section we provide you with all the information that you need to know about applying to become an individual member.
Our Application Ethos
We avoid a needlessly complicated style of application in preference for a holistic approach to your experience, practice and qualifications.
Rather than applying for a specific membership grade we encourage you to tell us all about you and then we will decide the most appropriate membership grade for you at the time of your application and set out a clear path for you to upgrade (if you choose to do so).

- Find out more about our different levels of membership. Whether you have just started on a course to study hypnotherapy, have further developed your skills or are an experienced practitioner — you will be guided to the appropriate membership level (you do not need to understand all the different criteria to make your application). If you are already a member of another professional body we can fast track your application and offer you a similar membership grade — and can also give you clear guidelines on upgrading your current grade.
