Register of Hypnotherapists
Welcome to the ‘Find a hypnotherapist’ area of our website.
Here is an FAQ which you may find useful in deciding how to choose a hypnotherapist and what hypnotherapy can be useful for.
Only professionals registered with the National Hypnotherapy Society are considered by the Society as our qualified hypnotherapists. These are referred to as Registrants.
If you are a potential client looking for a hypnotherapist, you may search our registrants by location and speciality. You can also check whether someone is on the register.
There are three types of National Hypnotherapy Society registrants.
Professional members are registrants who have met our criteria to be on the register. They have the letters MHS after their names.
Accredited Members are registrants who have met our criteria to be on the register and have met additional standards of experience and professional development. They have the letters MHS Acc. after their names.
Fellows are registrants who have met our criteria and are also considered senior practitioners. They have the letters (FHS) after their names.
NB non registrants of the society are not listed here. The Society does not consider our non registrants to be qualified hypnotherapists, although they may be on their way to being qualified, e.g. student members.
