Register of Hypnotherapists
Welcome to the ‘Find a hypnotherapist’ area of our website.
Here is an FAQ which you may find useful in deciding how to choose a hypnotherapist and what hypnotherapy can be useful for.
Only professionals registered with the National Hypnotherapy Society are considered by the Society as our qualified hypnotherapists. These are referred to as Registrants, and are on the HS accredited register.
If you are a potential client looking for a hypnotherapist, you may search our registrants by location and speciality. You can also check whether someone is on the accredited register.
The different kind of Registrants are:
Registrant Member (MHS) A practitioner who has met the standards for registration.
Accredited Member (MHS Accred) A practitioner who has met the standards for Registrant membership, and has further qualifications and/or experience.
Fellow Registrant (FHS) A practitioner who has met the standards for Accredited membership and has significant further experience and qualifications.
NB non registrants of the society are not listed here. The Society does not consider our non registrants to be qualified hypnotherapists, although they may be on their way to being qualified, e.g. student members.
