I was a Primary teacher for over 30 years, but am now a qualified hypnotherapist. I have also qualified as a psychotherapeutic counsellor. In addition, I have completed a course in Neuro Linguistic Programming, which I have found very useful in improving and increasing the 'tools' that I can use as a hypnotherapist and counsellor.
I am constantly improving my knowledge through CPD courses and reading. One of my most useful courses was on E.F.T - Emotional Freedom Technique, or tapping, which I have found an invaluable tool.
I have also trained in the use of the hypno-gastric band, which helps with weight loss.
I have long believed in the power of the mind to help you improve the quality of your life, both physically and mentally.
I believe that a client's needs are of the utmost importance.. As a result, many of my clients come from referrals.

I use an integrative approach to therapy which includes hypnotherapy, NLP, cognitive behavioural therapy and counselling.
