I have over 20 yrs of experience working in the medical profession and understand the strong mind-body connection and the impact it has on our health and well-being.

I see each client as a unique individual, with a unique set of circumstances. So with your help, together, we develop a treatment plan around your own specific needs. I integrate Hypnotherapy with a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to you. These include Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Matrix Reimprinting, Mindfulness and working with our Human Givens. I also teach skills to enable you to feel more empowered and in control of your life.

I qualified from Southampton Medical School in 1987. Early on in my career I took a sabbatical to study a variety of dance forms and qualified as a classical ballet teacher. It was during this time that I decided to go in to Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. I have worked in Rheumatology on the NHS, and spent 8 yrs working for the Army in a musculoskeletal / sports injury unit. I currently work one day a week in the Musculoskeletal Department at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine and in the Surrey Heath Pain Service,Camberley .

I soon realised the strong mind-body link when I noticed how patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis with a positive outlook did so much better than those who didn't. Over the years, dealing with patients who had pain and disability, I have become more aware of the profound influence of pain on psychological issues and vice versa. This drew me to studying Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy.

Having seen and personally experienced the positive effects Hypnotherapy may have on a variety of physical and psychological issues, and general well-being, I am passionate about its benefits. The mind has a strong impact on our body and health. By improving what goes on in our minds we can improve both our physical and emotional health.
I have a particular affinity for the performing arts, and empathy for the sports person, being a keen dancer myself, and playing in an amateur orchestra.

Some of the areas I deal with are:
Improving confidence.
Fears and phobias.
Habits.
Insomnia.
Pain control and illness.
Quit smoking
Weight loss, using hypno gastric band, if requested.
Stress and anxiety.
Loss and grief.
Improve performance.
Depression.
