I love helping people maximise their potential.
My journey into hypnotherapy and psychotherapy started from my 20 years experience as a Registered Nurse. Over my many years of working with a wide variety of people, especially with Oncology patients, I became very aware of how easy it is for our thoughts to think negatively and how this then impacts on our behaviour and our health. Becoming a therapist has enabled me, to help my clients move forward from these self-defeating beliefs.

  • Qualifications & Experience
    I am a MHS Professional member of
    the National Hypnotherapy Society and Counselling Society and have full Professional Liability Insurance. I am on the voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. Accreditation by the AVR demonstrates commitment to high professional standards, to enhance safety and delivering a better service.

    I have a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Advanced Psychotherapeutic Counselling Skills. I am also a qualified EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy) Practitione. I attend regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development), including additional training on various subjects such as , Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I am a great believer in combining therapies, however I am happy to conduct any as stand alone therapies.

    I attend regular supervision with an approved supervisor. The purpose of supervision is to seek advice on case management if required. Any discussions are in strictest confidentiality, names are never disclosed. Ongoing supervision is a requirement of the professional body association.
