Hi there - and thanks for reaching out and doing the right thing by finding out a bit more about me. For me, t h e m o s t important part of therapy is finding the right therapist.
So, let me tell you a bit more about me and then it's up to you to decide if I fit the bill for you :) As a qualified, professional and accredited Hypnotherapist and Counsellor, I offer confidential, effortless and calm sessions to suit your needs. Appointments are available at Melton Wellness House in Melton Mowbray and The Therapy Hub in Leicester.
Having suffered with anxiety and depression myself for many years, I became completely crippled by it about 5 years ago. It affected my sleep, my friendships, relationships, home life, work life - you name it - it was affected by my low moods and deteriorating physical health too. From cancelling appointments and evenings out to affecting my successful career as a Secondary School teacher, I was through with most things. Until I sought out help for myself and my counsellor was also a hypnotherapist. I'll admit, I was sceptical, like most people, expecting what I saw on the telly yo be what 'hypnosis' looked like. How wrong was I... wow, the positive effect it had on my life was, well, quite literally transformational. And after many months of recovery and healing, I decided that I too wanted to help others to get from that place of despair to feeling more confident and to live again. So that's what I did, went back to Uni and retrained as a Counsellor and Hypnotherapist and I've never felt more fulfilled. Helping clients on a daily basis and seeing their progress too, is, well, amazing.
You may have feelings of anxiety, depression or looking to quit addictions. Whatever you're hoping to achieve we can chat through your concerns or questions during the free consultation. If you're looking to change your thinking, reduce stress and anxiety in your life, change unwanted habits such as: quit smoking, stop drinking, remove unwanted fears and phobias, such as; fear of flying or the dentist or just simply to enjoy the process of relaxation to help you sleep and cope with life's difficulties, including panic attacks, therapy could really work for you.
If you think we could be the right 'fit', then please get in touch. Of course, it has to be the right time for you, but please don't put it off any longer, make that call and let me help you.
After your initial free telephone consultation, I'll produce individual sessions or put together a package just for you, to help you achieve the results you are looking for.
Here are some comments from clients I have worked with recently:
”I had a real fear of the dentist and hadn’t been for 12 years. After just 3 sessions with Debbie I was able to book an appointment with my dentist and have a check-up and treatment for my tooth ache which was such a relief”.
Jude from Melton Mowbray
“I was having real problems at work with my colleagues. Some days my anxiety was so bad, I couldn’t even go into work. After just 1 session with Debbie, I could feel myself being more relaxed at the thought of work and could get through my shift more easily. Within a month, my feelings of anxiety had gone completely and I am now happy at work”.
Tracey from Leicester
”After being a smoker for 17 years, I was a bit sceptical about hypnotherapy but my friend had been to Debbie and she had stopped smoking, so I thought I’d give it a try. Oh my goodness, it was such a quick solution to my problem. I’d tried patches and gum, everything, and nothing had worked. But Debbie made it so relaxing and was so encouraging that it was easy in the end”.
