Hi, I'm Lynn Mitcham and I help people to make positive changes in their lives. I trained as a hypnotherapist and counsellor a few years ago and have been running my practice, Sylvan Therapies, for just over 3 years. I work in a client-centred, solution-focused way, using a variety of techniques to suit each individual client and help them achieve the best possible result.

I work both in Bournemouth town centre, and also at The Alchemy Health Clinic in Wimborne.

I help people with a wide range of emotionally or psychologically based issues, but specialise in weight control, being a Hypno-Gastric Band Practitioner and also offering a Mindful Eating Programme, based on a combination of mindfulness, hypnotherapy and basic nutritional education. I also work a lot with anxiety, stress, depression, lack of confidence and lack of self-esteem. To reinforce the sessions, I provide CDs/MP3s as required.

I offer a free initial consultation, to enable you to meet with me and experience a short hypnosis session, and decide if we can work together to achieve what you want to achieve.
